OBJECTIVE OF THE FOUNDATION
The Foundation aimed to combat poverty and improve the living conditions of disadvantaged people in developing countries by establishing and/or supporting small-scale, effective projects and training programs aimed at self-reliance. The Foundation also provided grants and microcredit loans.

FOR WHOM?
The Foundation primarily focused on the very poorest, particularly disadvantaged women in Sri Lanka, Nepal and Brazil, to break the vicious cycle of poverty.

OUR MISSION

WHAT DID WE WANT TO ACHIEVE?
Improving the living conditions of disadvantaged women from the lowest social classes so they can provide for their own livelihood.

OUR APPROACH
Orange Angel strongly believed in the power of collaboration with good, local, and small-scale
organizations, combined with the Foundation's own involvement. Orange Angel also helped these organizations make their activities even more effective in the long term by providing input and advice.
PROVIDING MICRO-CREDITS in Nepal
Orange Angel provided micro-credits to women in Nepal who had successfully completed our own sewing training program in Kathmandu. With a small loan, they could purchase a sewing machine and fabrics. Many women were thus able to build a loyal customer base. The loans were monitored by our local organization in
Kathmandu, All Angels Nepal.
